At least they're trying to do something, but more can be done. Instead of just moving barriers and move land further inward, flood protection measures are still needed. What about drainage systems, natural drainage system can be created to draw water back and slow down the rate of flooding, many measures can also draw up the excess water.

He's back lol. Lomborg has some valid points, climate change will help balance population and increases in carbon tax may not benefit everyone and should be distributed and paid by those who are major polluters of greenhouse gases. However the guy is a little extreme with a lot of what he says. Sometimes you wonder if he really does know what he's talking about!!

Is it too late? 2015 is the deadline to reduce carbon emissions to a sustainable amount before things get more serious and before it becomes much more costly to reduce emissions. Policy really needs to change and fast and so do the attitudes of individuals on climate change! It's serious!!!

Climate Change and the Sceptics!
That's what happens when individuals are only interested in growing the economy. Media tends to be sceptical about climate change anyway.
As for the issues of energy and industry, corporate instituitons and industries stick together. Media usually tends to take a conservative approach anyway but there are a handful of journalists who will come forward and say climate change is happening. Individuals just brush of corporate responsibilities and they want people to continue as they are. If everybody suddenly knew climate change was actually happening, it would create moral panic on a global scale. The media is vastly controlled by the government even though we'd like to think they aren't. Whatever the Government says the media follows. It's quite sad that even in a world where free speech and globalisation are dominant, that as a global network we can't even fight to adapt to climate change, or believe the thousands of scientists who have openly said climate change is happening. Even the EU made an announcement after years of speculation with pure scientific evidence but yet countries like the UK are still in denial and as we continuously get flooded and land destroyed, the Government still act as though nothing is happening. They fail to implement policies which are needed not in another 10 years but now!!!

A Return to the 60's - The World of Television & Film!
What has happened to the world of TV and Film!! People wonder why today more stories of violence and drugs are all over the news! There has been a rise in violent crimes against women and children. The same content has increased crime rates across the globe. What ever happened to the simplicity of films. The ones that kids and adults could just watch and learn that they can make a difference in the world, that the world can be changed. Media and Film are the biggest influences on individuals both children and adults, yet all thats happening is people are being encouraged to see such films. Why can't films that have meaning and truth to it, whilst maintaining that innocence be made, like they used to. What ever happened to hollywood. We're not in the 60's anymore but yet films and television shows seem to encourage this sort of behaviour today!! :@
